What is an e-cigarette?
An electronic cigarette consists of three parts, namelya battery, a tank and eLiquid. The battery unit normally has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that powers the device. Entry level e-cigs will have a single, non removeable battery – while more advanced models may allow the owner to remove it when it has lost charge.
The tank (which holds the liquid) contains a heating element within it called an atomizer. This heats the eLiquid when powered by the battery, vapourizing it.The eLiquid is the final element of an electronic cigarette and this is available in different flavours and strengths.
How much do e-cigarettes cost?
The costs of electronic cigarettes can vary depending on the type of vaping solution you are after. Most beginner kits range from £20-£30, with intermediate kits usually falling between £40-£60. Advanced kits often costsupwards £60.
In terms of the cost of maintenance, this is relatively low. The only items that needs to be purchased regularly are atomizer heads (if you have a replaceable tank) and eLiquid.Typically an atomizer (coil) lasts approximately two weeks. This will all come down to frequency of use and battery voltage. The higher the voltage, the less the lifespan of the atomizer head will be.
There are a host of starter kits out there that offer essentially the same thing. While those new to it may realize this, there is actually a great difference in the quality of the vapour and nicotine delivery that they administer. We know it is our own product and we are meant to promote it – but the Vapor V1300 kit is really decent. Personally we found it didn’t burn the atomizers out as quick compared to others, yet still manages to deliver a superior vape.
What are the ingredients in eLiquids?
Depending on the flavour and nicotine percentage in the eLiquid you purchase, the ingredients can vary. Saying that however, a very large percentage of liquids will be comprised of the following:
– Propylene Glycol (PG):
A high quality pharmaceutical grade liquid (in combination with the nicotine and flavours) is responsible for the throat hit that mimics smoke.
– Vegetable Glycerine (VG):
Glycerine is used to produce vapour and hold the flavour. VG is thicker in consistency, and is responsible for ensuring the eLiquid retains flavour.
In addition to the above, eLiquids contain food grade flavourings, nicotine (optional) and water.
Are liquids suitable for vegetarians?
Yes, all products we stock are suitable for vegetarians.
How long does a bottle of eLiquid last?
A 10ml bottle should last approximately 5-7 days. A standard tank has a 1.6ml capacity and often lasts a whole day for anaverage user.
What do I need to get started?
Depending on your commitment to vaping, there are a host of options available to you. We recommend that you purchase one of our starter kits if you are new to it all. In addition, we advise you to purchase extra liquids with your kit to ensure you can hit the ground running.

My eCig battery won’t charge?
If your battery isn’t charging it may be due to many different factors. Begin by Ensuring that the charger you are using is the correct charger for the battery. Also make sure that you are charging the battery properly. Some batteries are charged at the top (510 charger), others charge from the bottom via micro USB. Mods that take replaceable batteries require an external charger for the cells.
My battery won’t turn on?
The first step is to make sure that your battery is charged before using it. The batteries we supply normally have charge in them, but some may be dead and will require charging before use. Different devices have different methods to turn the battery on. Please refer to the manual of your specific device. Lastly, if none of these methods work then please give us a call on 0161 312 8306 or email email@example.com
What is a Pass-through battery?
A pass-through battery allows you the option of charging and vaping simultaneously. These batteries usually have a charging port at the bottom of the unit.
What is the lifespan of an atomizer?
Atomizers are in all tanks, which are heated when the battery is activated – producing the vapour. Atomizer heads last for about two weeks, but this is an average as opposed to the rule. They are also very fragile, so they can stop working after a few days if they are used excessively or if the voltage is too high.
Our atomizers have a ‘Dead on Arrival’ warranty. This means that as soon as you receive the product you need to test it to see if it works. Once it works, the warranty period has ended.
Why are there different ohm resistances?
The resistance is used to manage different volumes and strength of vapour.
Can I use the same tank with another liquid?
Yes. Sometimes you may notice the old flavour in your vaping, but that should dissipate shortly (so long as you cleaned it well).
What are rebuildable tanks?
Used primarily by advanced users who are committed long term to vaping. Some RBT’s can be complex to set up, people new to vaping should spend a lot of time getting acquainted with the user manual or online tutorials to get the best out of the device.
In a nutshell though, a rebuildable unit has at least two posts, one post being positive, the other negative. In order to get the unit to work, a coil needs to be go from the positive post to the negative one. Within this coil there is a material that can absorb eLiquid, most commonly high quality wool.
Mechanical and non-mechanical mods… What’s going on?
Mechanicals Mods are electronic cigarettes stripped down to the bare essentials. They contain battery cells that complete a circuit which fires the atomiser – which is attached to the mod. Alternatively, non-mechanical mods offer more features (variable voltage and/or wattage safety protection).
How do I maintain the products?
We recommend that you treat all your e-cig related products with care. Batteries need to be stored appropriately as they can be dangerous if misused (Battery cells should never be stored in your pocket with other metal objects, as this can short the battery and cause a hazard. We recommend that your battery cells be stored in a safe area away from metal objects, i.e. a plastic storage container).
